MCS Linear Phase speaers

I was in the local GW yesterday and ran across a pair of MCS 8320 Linear Phase speakers. They are a sweet looking pair of 3 ways with the "pregnant penguin" look of those speaks that I believe RonC commented on. The woofer is pushed forward about 4 inches and the mid and tweeter are aligned behind it. Very cool, 30 bucks, bummer my wallet is flat
Has anybody heard these........ I am wondering if they are related to the Technics Linear Phase speaker line? And if I should have picked them up, I will be very bummed.

Yes, They were made by Technics VinylHanger.

I always liked the way those Linear phase speakers looked.

i have the 8330 series witch is the 12" three way series, and i love the cabinets. strong looking, rock solid...should have grabbed them.............x37tuna.............
