Micro Seiki DQ-43

The Pioneer Pirate
Hi I have the lead on a Micro Seiki DQ-43 Turntable but apparently the headshell is missing ..... The tonearm is an MA-707 and has a plug-in type headshell .... Does anyone know where I might be able to source this headshell?

Thanks in advance

You can use any SME/japanese type hedshell (though not the actual SME which doesn't have slots to allow alignment). But note that the original Micro Seiki headshell is a heavy beast, and so with a light cartridge you might need to add weight to balance it out -- I doubt if this would actually be a problem though, since its a pretty adaptable arm.
The Micro headshell is very pretty, and so you might look for one on Ebay etc. But don't expect it to be cheap.

it is a straight arm though and has a angled head that's what I'm having a hard time finding ....

Oops -- had it mixed up with the 505, which is embarassing because I have the Mk III version, and should know it.
I have no idea where you would find a 707 headshell, other than simply trolling the internet etc.
Good luck -- its an interesting looking arm
