Hi Everybody :)

i recently spotted a pair of these BUT with missing bass...
yhe price is nice but i would need to buy some replacement

anyone knows at lest the serial number of missing speakers?
or even better its specs?

yup the woofers are missing and thus the 781's i am talking about are circa 30yrs old model from the times of cyrus mission two amp
not the one from your link, there may be problem with ordering/fiding them new ;)
so i need the number of the originals or/and the specs of the originals to find other model fitting same specs...
 
other woofers, later models from mission will fit into the cabinets cause they have same size etc but without kowing the specs it would be kindda..... ;)
 
Those 781/782 woofers will be rare birds. They may have used them later after I left the audio business but they were like nothing Mission had used before or around that time.
 
oh.... so they were spec ial that much? i admit i didnt know that Raynald ... can you tell me bit more please.....? :)
 
The Cyrus 781 were lovely speakers. The drivers did not look particularly expensive or high tech, just different from the ones used in the standard Mission line. Probably sourced from Vifa like most of the other Mission drivers. Can't help you much besides that. I found a pair for a co-worker last year, he loves them. We could ask him to pull them apart but that would be a big ask!
