ML-2 cabinet remake

The following is a Paint Shop Pro rendition of a McIntosh ML-2 speaker pair in a remodeled cabinet. The image below was made just over a year ago when John from MA bought a pair of battered ML-2s. His cabinets were in pretty bad shape, so I use `snips´ from his photos and designed a new PACKAGE for the ML-2. They would be DENSE and have the same interior volume. Even ran the idea and image by Roger Russell and he replied that the boss wanted the designs to look like fine furniture. He said that would have been a GOOD idea!!

Imagine the sound of this NEW geometry with re-coned drivers, etc. EQ to 20 Hz? Handle some power? Comments welcome, but please don't throw rotten tomatoes. :)

Close match would be the ML2, half the height and twice the width, just move the midrange and tweeters next to the 12's.

Ah yes, but there are good reasons to align the drivers vertically. Suppose the original cabinets are damaged or wrecked. The OP refers to ML-2 drivers and circuits being mounted in a newly constructed high-density cabinet of the original volume, and as narrow as possible. There's base molding for stability. Just brainstorming here and having some fun with PSP7. :))
