MP3 better than WAV..?

In theory, yes, a WAV can be encoded at 8 bit, 12k; but in practice nobody does that. 99.9% of them are Redbook or higher.

In mp3 there is less information than in the wav format above all in the high frequencies, the question is : can it be heard or noticed ? I think that if you cannot hear, your brain probably yes, it will seem to him like less music and more plastic and robotic sound.

A subliminal effect maybe, that is you can hear good bass, midrange, treble, transients but even then the music is less musical ?
