Musical fidelity DAC

Anyone have good or bad comments regarding the Musical fidelity x 24 & x psu
Dac & power supply?

I have heard it a few times and found it to be a very nice dac. Especially if the price is right

Tom (trianglezerius)and I frequent the same audio dealer, though I am close enough to walk over, and don't have international border issues to impede me. I have heard the same unit in several different systems, and always liked it. It seems to be somewhat less sensitive to synergy issues than some other DAC's I have heard, in that shop.

I still use the X-24K DAC in my bedroom system. Mine uses the wall wart PS. It is nice sounding DAC. If you can pick one for cheap, they are well worth it.

I use it in my work system with a GW Labs DSP (as an upsampler), and it is very nice. I listen to it for hours on end, 5 days a week.

Also, as with most X-tube stuff from MF, it should be pretty tweakable (opamps, caps, etc.). I intend to do this with mine.
