Pronounced, Joshua Tree, Let it Bleed or Exile, some CSN or CSNY up to So Far, Tapestry, Court and Spark, Hotel California, Boston, Pet Sounds (mono).......wait I need to go flip side b

No list of 25 should have so much artist redundancy, seriously so much Fagin and S.D. and 3 Led Zeppelin and 2 Dire Straits?
30% of the entire music history to them?
1 Fab 4 album?
Sarah McLachlin "Surfacing"......really?

OK OK you guessed it, I see a lot of flaws lol

Well, I have 12 of your 25. These types of lists are always entertaining. The music one listens to is usually a good indicator of musical compatibility. I feel that you and I could sit down to a listening session and enjoy each others selections.

That is a lot of Zep!

And then; I don't have a single recording Spartan manor listed!

Alot of you will not have heard of this one but :

Micheal Stanley Band - Stagepass

Came out about when live recordings started sounding good. Recorded in Cleveland at the now burnt down Agora. Has a seriously goo version of "Let's Get The Show On The Road", beats the hell out of the studio version, and I usually like the studio version better. Not this time. Hell to get though, there may not have ever been a CD stamped of it. Not sure. I got it all online and my buddy who was actually there (and I actually think I heard his voice on it) has an original album of it which is in good shape. Micheal Stanley is now a DJ on a rock station here, not syndicated as far as I know, and one of these days we intend to go down there and get him to autograph it, though it is not a high priority. We are not really into things like that, but it would be nice.

But in that list needs to be some ELO for example, and y'all do need a little bit of hillbilly in there as well.

Pink Floyd - Animals. Don't forget that.

By hillbilly I don't necessarily mean bluegrass, but someting should be in there. Hank Williams Jr., Charlie Daniels Band. And somewhere along the line a Brubeck. Possibly a copy of Ravel's Bolero. Probably by Cleveland or New York Orchestra. Or one from Russia, them people play pretty good.

And what about Justin Bieber?:D

Compiling a top 25 for me would be very difficult.

Primarily, as a Jazz lover, it would consist of Masters Jazz albums from Classic Jazz Masters like Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Oscar Peterson, Dave Brubeck, Chet Baker, and on the list would go. From BeBop to West Coast Jazz. I'd also include a few American Standard Masters like Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Rosemary Cloony, and Dean Martin. I have so many I love it would be a hard task. So on the list would go.

I'd also throw in a few from Mozart, Bach, and Beethoven from my Classical Albums collection. I have about six Masters that I really like, so I'd start picking some Albums from each, and on the list would go.

I may toss in one or two from Rock/Pop. Perhaps some Boston, Steely Dan, Journey, America, Chicago, and on the list would go.

So, I'd eventually have to pin down albums. It would take a lot of work to pick my ULTIMATE Top 25 that I absolutely MUST have. Very difficult for me.

Nobody 100 miles from Cuyahoga county knows MSB lol

C.A.P.:
Are you serious? Thriller may be the best party/dance album ever recorded. Billie Jean is possibly the best dance single ever recorded. Play it at any get together and people will try to dance to it.

Joe I think you might be getting old.:D

I might not be that much younger than you, and I can't recall the last time I was at a party/dance, but something tells me they are not playing Thriller or Billie Jean.

Oh yeah? Play Billie Jean at a get together where people dance and watch what happens. You could participate if you're not to old to boogie.:D

BTW: Thriller is about the video not dancing to the music.
