Wow.
This is my thousandth post to AudioKarma. I only joined around June 20th, 2011. I was on head-fi before, but this is much more fun. I joined because I had (still have) a problem with my Philips 867 headshell. I then got a (to this day) pain in the rear-great sounding-Philips 212. I did some work on it, but the speed is still funny and the platter rubs. I then got a Pro/ject One DR-220. Great turntable. From there, ladies and gentlemen, I lost count. I bought a Dual 1219 from Bohhey. This isn't counting some random junk ones I got. I also have a few receivers, my main one being my beloved Marantz 2275. I went from listening almost ALL digitally to listening almost ALL analog. I now have a Great Sony 2251 that will have an Infinity Black Widow (that I bought on Barter Town for $275, which is a great investment for those who haven't paid the $25) tonearm on it by later tonight (hopefully). I will then re-cap it (or get it recapped) and get a record clamp. Thank all of you who have posted in my threads, and given me advice and comments and compliments. It is greatly appreciated. Starting with my 1,000th post, I will now sign my posts with 'Ben aka MacKat', as that is my name. I will have a Thread about my completed-ish 2251 soon. I hope to learn more and more, and have more and more fun on this website. Thank you to each and every one of you! I hope to see ya' around soon
