Higher-end gear is hard to sell on CL -- folks are looking for a deal. Depends on the market though -- some cities just seem to have more folks willing to spend $$$ on desirable gear. ePray is the place to get top dollar for your equipment, though large speakers have limitations because of shipping costs/hassles. I'm guessing that on the East coast it is less of a problem due to the higher population density -- more folks within driving/pickup distance.
Do yourself a favour though -- before you go to sell and ship your gear, set it up one last time, and give it a good listen. After all this time listening to the Jonas Bros and Hannah Montana in the car, you might be surprised to find that you are still much more of an audiophile/music lover than you think that you are. Many of us here have 'rediscovered' good audio after having been away for years, and your gear is certainly nice enough to enjoy long after your daughter has moved out. Tough to replace the things that you sell along the way, and the cash from them doesn't last very long!
Good luck in whatever you decide to do.
