I also don't want a built in system like others are doing attaching more things to the tank, filtering and drainage. I don't need my ultrasonic setup all the time as I do it in my kitchen when I start doing a lot of records. I have a RCM for the one disc if I need one done fast.

Drop-in heater should work. I was thinking I have a sous vide drop-in heater/circulator that would do the job, too. Wouldn't leave either in during cleaning records, though.

Don't be discouraged by the occasional failures. I think there is some great guidance here on avoiding the pitfalls others have learned from. I have a US setup and it's the best solution to cleaning I have used... a not by a small margin.If you have a small collection may not be worth the investment. Something to consider as well.

Well, I've had good success with the wet vac RCM that I have, and don't want to get into something that I will need to replace every year or so. It sounds like -- unless I go with an expensive lab-grade unit -- the inexpensive ones are the usual hit and miss Chinese quality.

I run mine at 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
Sounds like 4-2-7 has gotten a lot of cleaning out of his machine. Since you are bringing fluid up to temperature, it makes sense to do cleaning in batches. Some folks seem to think there is a need to keep an RCM around for touch up. I don't see the need personally. In my experience the difference between the US and my RCM is significant, and I won't be going back.

A sous vide was my first thought when reading this thread - you beat me to it! I believe the Anova is on sale right now, though any of them should work nicely.
This would be a much more elegant solution than dumping solution between the tank and a pot, and involving the stove.

Use in things other than water? Unknown. But if it doesn't kill records, it shouldn't kill a sous vide heater.
Any sudsing cleaner might leave you with a surprise, though.

Then it is much easier to pay $3500 and get fully automatic Audio Desk Systeme cleaner from German brand (though it is UNLIKELY made in Germany)
Well yeah at some point you could get into Audio Desk and klaudio record cleaner prices. However they are back to one record at a time and having to listen to the noise of the vacuum. Depending on tank size one can do 4,6, 8 records at one time walk away for 10 minutes and let the records air dry.
I don't think it's as good but will work. However the heat does a couple of things, it helps dissolve oils and sticky stuff.
But the best thing I feel the heat does is expand the record. When you first put a room temp record in the heated water it starts to deform looking all weird until it's fully rotated through the heated water. At this point the record is looking straight again but it's not, it's puckered like a dished record because it has expanded. One can terrorize that the grooves got bigger also letting grit and dirt that's lodged in them come out easier. When you pull the records out they look like you messed them up as they are all dished but as they cool they return to normal (flat).
But what I do know the heat does, with this expansion and contraction of the record is it removes all static in the disc. I guess you could say it relaxes it and lets all built up energy to escape.
