Looks CEC Japan built to me, or Fujiya Audio built. Similar tonearm, similar control layout. In good order, reasonably good turntables which perform well, and are simple and reliable. This one has the Matsushita DC motor.

I've lived most of my life here in Cali and have seen a lot of Ca. brands that didn't last long, but this is a new one for me. Have you ever seen this brand? I was thinking some house brand.

I think house brand, I see many similar turntables under several different brands with this style arrangement.

It's just stuff - but fun
That kinda looks like Technics SL-23 guts in a way. Right down to the diameter of the platter. But the tonearm mount is completely different, as is the layout of the controls. I'm sure other brands did similar stuff (e.g. Kenwood). But I'd say that is out of the 1975-ish time period. I assume that is a speed control on the far left.
