nad 6100 repair

anyone feel like rebuilding a small power supply board? apparently nad used the infamous toxic glue and one resistor seems almost disintegrated. i think they shot themselves in the foot with that type of "preventative" maneuver. thank you.

That burnt part is not a resistor, it is a Zener diode ZD801. See the board layout from the NAD 6100 SM (flipped to match your component side photo).
That circuit generates the 12VDC that goes to a couple of boards.
A 13V Zener diode is about $0.15 at Mouser. Probably should replace a few capacitors while you are at it (C804, C806, C807).
Replace the parts, then check the 12V on the two connectors MP802 & MP803. Check the board for damage of the traces and clean up the glue with some isopropyl alcohol.
