Hey folks. Looking for some ideas on what might be wrong with this unit. I’m getting power as indicated by the red db meters lighting up when plugged in and turned on. Tape in but none of the button functions work. No response from play, rewind, fast forward, etc. Power supply has a low frequency hum emitting from it and I smelled something burning after having it on for a few minutes. I noticed that some heat was coming from, what looks like a barrier separating one part of the board from the other. I touched said barrier and it was VERY hot to the touch. I have included a picture with the “barrier” circled. Any help is appreciated.
