Let me start over. I recently acquired a Dahlquist DQ-LP1 from an E-Bay auction. The seller said the unit was built for 220 volt operation, upon receiving the unit and checking it over the first thing I saw was that it has a standard power cord, and a U.S. plug. I called Dahlquist and spent about twenty minutes on the phone with Joe in tech support he had me open the unit up and read off several numbers, from the capacitors and the transformer, he could not see where the unit was manufactured for 220 volt operation, he had me plug the unit into a 110 volt socket the red led on the front came on. I need some ideas on how to be sure what voltage this unit works on.
