Good afternoon, I signed up for the forum quite a bit ago and I’ve been a lurker for a couple years. I thought it was time to do the intro. I do not think I did an intro when I signed up.
Thanks for all the people contributing here. I’ve loved music since I found an old Beatles record on the floor of my closet back I high school, before long I heard Don’t Fall on Me by REM and so started things.
A few years ago I found an old turntable in my garage and hooked it up, remembering what listening to records was like i started buying too many. I listen to most genres, but will definitely go in spurts.
After some time I purchased the AT-120 and started acquiring other pieces of equipment. An old Kenwood integrated amp was given to me, I’ve bought 3 tape decks at thrift stores and recently acquired an old Pioneer PL-112d which has become my main TT.
Living in MSP is a great place to collect music, we have a bunch of reasonably priced record stores here.
I look forward to contributing when I can.
