So I just got a Pioneer Spec 1 and am on the hunt for a Spec 4, Pioneer tuner (9500?), tape player, etc.
I no nothing about the rack system for vintage pioneer equipment except that its crazy expensive on Ebay. So here are a few questions that I'm hoping those in the know can help me with:
The Spec 1 preamp and Spec 2 and 4 amps all have handles already and are all set to slide into a rack. I've seen pics of Pioneer rack systems with tuners, tape players, eq's etc. that must require either a new face plate, or some type of adapter to make them fit in a rack. I have seen a tray for tuners, but I'm not sure if this would work all the other pieces too (seems like they're all different dimensions.
Can anyone help me out with the ins and outs of this Pioneer rack system
