Newbie: advice? Luxman L-350AII

The Accuphase E212 is push-pull.

For headbangers with inefficient speakers, probably. But not everyone wants loud, even if it's clean.

There is a lot of truth to that.

There is also a lot to be said for a new, reference-quality amp as a foundation for comparisons, whether or not they are the "thief of joy". My L-505u improved upon my 80's Hafler separates, which I still think were quite good. Class A would take it another step further.

But I understand economic reluctance, too.
 
 
I did not realize that Luxman makes any of their gear in China. I admit that throws me off.
I have wanted one of their recent integrated amps for years (the L-505ux comes to mind).

From my limited knowledge, and hearsay I have come across. They are owned by a Chinese company now, but I think they still operate and use Japanese parts, I think this is one of the odd ones that was assembled in China to make a cheaper end product
