Just wondering if you know for sure that the relay itself is bad? Measure to see if the 24 volt coil has 24 volts.

The unit is 45 years old. I always replace the relays and this one gets pounded. It’s buried and checking the voltage is problematic. Everything around it has been rebuilt. I am doing a full restoration

I don’t know about the color, haven’t pulled it yet. Everything comes out of protection and I have proper bias current and dc offset but no audio out of the right channel preamp and the right amp is muffled as well. The right channel was sketchy and then failed altogether. If the volume was rotated up quickly before it failed, it would stabilize. So I am starting with relays because I have seen this behavior before and it was failing relays.

This relay is on the equalizer board pb 636. If this doesn’t make it happen with the preamp, start tracing things out.
