From the research I have been doing, it seems that ultrasonic cleaners do a better job than vacuum cleaners do.

..and they’re slow.
Even if you do several at a time, ultrasonics are slow - and you’ll still need to dry your cleaned records.
They probably do clean well though. Make your choice, pay your money - and enjoy the music. ^_^

I made my choice. I'm using enzyme cleaner followed by a DIY solution and then a rinse in distilled water. Dirt cheap and working well for me, so far.
