ohm sound cylinder speakers

I never heard the Sound Cylindars, but I did own a pair of MicroWalsh Talls. I really loved them for a lot of reasons; big soundstage without a true sweet spot so you can move around while listening, sometimes breathtaking articulation that really put the joy into listening, and just an overall musicality that was quite nice.

One thing that really bothered me was that they always sounded a bit 'underwater', the top end was very rolled off in my opinion, and so there was no sparkle. I collect New England speakers and I'm quite familiar with rolled highs, but with this speaker it was too much.
Ohms are not everyone's cup of tea, so be sure to audition them with some of your favorite music, paying close attention to the top end sound.

I eventually sold mine, and I still miss them. I would probably snag a pair again if I could. Snag those if you can get them, and the price seems about right if they are in good condition. In my opinion, beat up Ohms are hard to find, I think most owners simply liked them too much.

Good luck!
