Glad to hear they made the trip safely - I'll bet Pustelniak packed 'em well. :thmbsp: Looking forward to hearing them on Saturday. :music:

Only a specialidiot would make that claim. :D

Yeah I know, BK is the "Chevy" of the paver world. I spent quite a few years in the paving business. BG is the "Caddy" for sure.

we now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.

You haven't lived till you've been on the back of a drag box. That's the model A Ford of the paving world. There are some nice features on the bk though like not having to clean out the wing when you come to a basin. Supposedly BK is supposed to be stepping up to plate here and be challenging Cat. We'll see.

Nothing beats a Big CAT. Not around here anyway today 7 solo dump trucks paved 2800 tons of AC in a 9.5 hour day I did 22 loads. We smoke!

My friend, no matter where you're at, or what you're pavin' with... 2800 ton is a GOOD day.:thmbsp:
Now, how do those aforementioned Pioneer pieces sound?

:para: damn!

looking forward to your comments on how they sound , it is always a sense of relief when audio gear arrives safely, enjoy :music:

That's an awesome day. Must be pretty good going. Everything has to be right for that kind of output. Must be a drum mix plant maybe with silos? Our best day so far is 2400 ton in an 8 hr day. Not bad for a 4.5 ton drop plant with no silos.

Yes is is a very large Drum Mix plant they have five huge silo's and while we do that much production there might be 3 smaller outfits running and at least one other job as big as ours. We have days where we run 25 trucks all with trailers.

Big time paving LOL

And Rich about 8 hours from now they should be up and running in the Shrine.

Glad to hear your 9100's arrived safely Mark. After reading about paving and 10 hour days, six days a week, my shitty desk job don't seem quite so bad!

Aw, it's not so bad. On the days when its about thirty degrees out, the asphalt keeps you nice and warm. And when it's 106 (actually paved once in that temperature...whew!) you just soak your shirt in the water tank of the roller every time it gets near the paver. :D

Nothing like a hot day and lots of short passes to clean your system from the inside out. Seems like every cold one that you ever had the pleasure of enjoying needs to come out. 2 gallons of water is the norm for me on those nasty hot days. If you want to have some fun put a bottle of cheap perfume in the roller's water tank. Just don't let the roller guy catch you doing it though. You'll have one sweet smelling roller operator at the end of the day.

That's funny.
