Interesting Trick. Good to see some old names. Looks like I am member #31 and there are about 6 prior to me that posted in at least 2020.

This site was originally started by a bunch of us that bolted from another site in the Summer of 2002. Originally was a close knit group of guys with mostly vintage interest. I can remember scurrying home from dinner with the wife to get on the computer to see what scores my buddies at found.

I think we had about 75 members within the first month.

I was # 213, joined in September 2002. I do remember my first post -- I was looking for info on Philips [edit] polycarbonate dome tweeters, as I had picked up a pair of AVID 102s that had low output from one tweeter.

October 2003. Already over 1200 members then (I am 1240).

Just did a quick calculation- by my post count, I've averaged just over 3 posts a day, every day, since then.

I don't remember when I joined but during one of the updates my post count and profile information got lost and I ended up starting over with a 2005 join date.

There was the ak crash in 2005 which wiped out all photos that were posted on ak along with lots of threads and posts going back to 2002. I remember it well.
