I saw these in Savers today, I didn't take measurements but they're about 30 pounds, about 25" tall x 16" wide.
Six 6" whizzer drivers and a cone tweeter. The ultimate Kabuki?
Found a SS-177J in Olson's 1974 catalog which says "Our sure to be copied "Septette"...":
I don't think anyone copied them, never seen anything like it.
And, no, I didn't buy them.
