I recently picked up an Onkyo TX-822 receiver at the local thrift and it seems to work okay, although the tuner portion is a little wonky. In the auto mode, it would not stop on any station, but on frequencies with static and on the stations is would only play in mono and does not register as being tuned. I have used a decent antenna with it and it still has the problem. Any ideas? I am debating if it is worth putting any work into it.
