Original light display on C11 preamp

Does anyone know if the original lighting display on the C11 had a green tint? I have a C11 that has been in the family since it was new. The lighting is a yellowish, white now. I recently read that the glass panel had a greenish layer over the lettering that gave it a green tint and that that fades over time.

I could be wrong, but I think that the C11 had white/incandescent colored lettering. Green was introduced on the later C20.

Mine is white, no evidence of green on the glass. Lighting is provided by 4 #1847 6.3v bayonet lamps in series. There is a dimmer switch (normal/dim) on the back of the unit. There is currently, or was recently, a C11 for sale on eBay with green lighting, which I assume is due to LED lamps. I'm in the process of restoring mine.
 
Here are some pics of disassembled C11 front. First pic shows the back of the glass, which has white lettering. Lamps are super easy to get to with panel removed, but I think they can be replaced without removing as well.

McIntosh used foam to prevent light leakage, and mine turned to dust after I opened it up - photo shows it still present. I plan on using adhesive backed foam rubber weather stripping, which has almost exactly the same dimensions.

Wow, these are great pictures. So cool to see the C11 with the bottom panel off as well. You can get a good look at those output level controls. The foam on mine has also deteriorated over time. I had mine brought back to spec by Audio Classics, but they don't seem to re-foam the units. I wondered why they had the right lamp facing left instead of facing right so the illumination would be spread evenly.
