Packing Audio Equipment with their original boxes

I meant to say without their original boxes...highschool typing class did me bad!

I've sold a couple items on Ebay that I didn't have the original boxes for...A pair of McIntosh MA230's and a Denon Amp. What I did to pack and insure a safe trip was to buy a Sterilite container big enough to put each unit in. Pack the unit in that nice and snug with some bubble wrap and cut styrofoam to cover corners and glass/faceplate. Then once I was satisfied with it being good to go in the plastic container I'd pack that container, wrapped once again with bubble wrap and styrofoam to sturdy the edges, into a sturdy corrigated cardboard box for electronics from U-Haul. They all arrived safely and intact. I think each packing cost about $15 or so, plus s/h at UPS.
