Parasound Z phono results

Hello, I purchased myself a Parasound Z phono preamp to go along with my turntable. http://www.parasound.com/ParasoundZ/zphonoUSB.php

This was my first preamp and I have had nothing but great results with my Z phono.

After weeks of using it only for my turntable, I decided to connect my ipod into one of the other line in inputs to take advantage of a couple of apple lossless files that I have.

I was blown away on how amazing everything sounded. I haven't been this excited hearing my ipod since I can remember. I almost heard my entire ipod that day just sitting down and hearing my entire collection breathe again. It was a truly wonderful experience.

Is anyone familiar with Parasound electronics?

I am truly satisfied with the performance my Z phono usb preamp delivers.

I am considering purchasing the Zcd so I can enjoy my cd's. http://www.parasound.com/ParasoundZ/zcd.php

I came across this post while searching for users of this unit. nebulous9, are you still happy with it? Are there others who have it?

I'm considering it because of the ability to switch capacitance, but mainly the ability to defeat the RIAA circuit when using the DAC output. I restore 78's and have an inexpensive preamp that has a flat output, but was hoping to step up. I apply correct EQ in software for my 78's.

Any experience? I'd be especially interested if someone had an Art Phono USB unit and had compared them.
