How do you like the Freya+ teamed with the A21+ ? I am contemplating buying a second Freya+ to use in the office to replace the Parasound P6 I'm currently using with my A21+.

Yea, the OHM's were a bit of a rescue 10 years ago. Someone had painted them white and the guy I bought them from had stripped the white paint but the original feet were trashed. I decided to go with casters instead of new feet. They might not be the sexiest things in the world, but it makes speaker positioning easy!Nice to see I'm not the only one who puts casters under speakers!

I have a Freya+ in my main stereo out in the living room paired with a set of Schiit Tyr mono block amps and a Loki Max EQ, but I never gave the Freya a good listen with the A21+ amps I had. I used to have two A21+ bi-amped, but I sold one and moved the other to the office with the P6. The Freya+ in passive mode sounds the same as the P6 to my ears, but I'm missing the tube magic in the office and am considering replacing the P6 with a Freya+ (I also use a Lokius EQ in the office). They pair great! I'm quite happy with the sound. Its a basic preamp compared to the P6. There's no bass/treble controls, no bass management, no DAC, no phono, etc. I do run rca out from the Freya to a Schiit Loki before going to the A21+. I have a small, treated, listening room and some recordings just need an eq tweak here and there. But I'm a hopeless EQ guy, so your mileage may vary.
The Freya responds well to tube rolling and I need to get some more Tung Sol's. I'm running the stock JJ's, which are good, but Tung Sol's really make it pop (to my old ears).
The passive non-tube mode on the Freya is pretty cool too. If I'm working and just want to run the system as background music, I'll switch it to passive mode to save tube life.
In my small room the A21+ barely gets warm and I'm sure it runs in class A under 5 watts. I could have used a A23+ in this room and saved some money and space, but hey, at least I'll never be under-powered in the room.
EDIT - there's a 200+ page thread dedicated to the Freya+ over at head-fi. Tube rolling, cooling options (heat sinks, drilling holes in the chassis), and cap upgrades. Most of it is all beyond me except the tube rolling.

I used to have a JC3+ and a JC3 Jr but sold them and replaced them with Schiit Skoll phono preamps which have far more adjustment for MM carts than either of the Parasound phono amps which have a built in 150pF capacitive load which can be too much for many AT MM cartridges. (with the Parasounds you pretty much get what John Curl wants you to hear, not necessarily what you like to hear).
The modern Tong-Sol tubes sound pretty good in the Freya, as do some NOS tubes (1950's Sylvania "Chrome Top" ones are really good- the GTA/GTB versions- the older GT tubes sound a bit dull- (I have a Schiit ton of tubes to roll).
What are your speakers sitting on?
The stand system designed for them. They were part of the purchase. What are your speakers sitting on?
Okay, those are beautiful. I have to admit a little speaker envy .
We should rename @Ds2000 “Flagship San”Okay, those are beautiful. I have to admit a little speaker envy .

I love the way 901's look in a room. They are beautiful.Enjoy. I had two pair, Series II and Series V. It looks like you did a good job of setting them up. They are tricky to place. I always did what the room allowed.
Interesting set up. What is the story with the turntable and the massive plinth?Changed view a little:
