Sweet lord, I'm going to have to stop looking in this thread, far too much to comment on.
that is one incredibly ridiculous subwoofer and i mean that only in the most positive way. . You just moved in? Did you move because your last house fell down?
Yes you are!
Just bought some DCMs, I'm impressed with their sound. I was simply looking for something to play the radio over but they are quite more than that!Current setup:
Amp: NAD C356BEE + DAC.
Sources: Mac Mini, Denon DVD player, Xbox, TV.
Speakers: Tannoy 609, DCM Timepieces, DCM CX-27, Cerwin-Vega VE12F.
The 2 half empty shelfs will be filled with a Marantz 2050 Tuner, and a Denon AVR 3803 for the Cerwin Vega's.The Tannoy's will be put up for sale and I'll be keeping the DCM CX-27 since they perform better.
Ps: Taken with iPad so I apologize for quality issues haha.
Nice system but why not run the TV audio through your Emotiva and mains rather than the Klipsch computer speakers?
Double Frugal Horns powered by a Dared 2a3 SET.
Peerless Bucket Subs powered by a Yung Class D plate amp.
Source is a Rotel 855 CDP.
Well... the short answer is that I haven't gotten around to it yet. But the Klipsch have been connected to the TV for a long time and with the DAC being a relatively new purchase I just haven't gotten around to it yet. It has been on my short list of things to do but then again, I have this Adcom Tuner/PreAmp here and would like to explore the possibility of connecting it so as to use the FM Tuner. The thing is, the DAC will require me to use the Optical Toslink while the Adcom has RCA outputs. But I think I can get around that with something like this. http://www.monoprice.com/Product?p_...7UFUnBuS4LzpIrNEdUYaPGeBoCt__w_wcB#reviewInfo
