Just purchased a PL-L800 turntable. It has some issues and I'm looking for some help.
The unit turns off and on and the functions and lights appear to work properly. I can move the arm with the buttons right left up and down. When I place a record on the platter and press start the arm moves slowly to the record label and stops. If I push playback stop/start again the arm moves back to the off position and then begins its move back to the label. It never attempts to stop at the beginning of the record or lower the tone arm.
Any help appreciated.
