Hello there,
I have a Pioneer SA-608 amplifier and i want to connect the sr-303 reverberation amplifier as well as the sg-9800 equalizer and the cassette deck ct-f1250. Does anybody know what is the best method how to connect this all?
All of the units are permanently on.

Thanks

This is just my opinion, but how I do my effects and such is I usually have sources come in the auxiliary on my receiver, and I have my dynamic processor and equalizer hooked up to the tape monitor 2. I do this so I can easily turn off any added effects by just turning off the tape monitor 2 while also making it easier because everything besides my phonograph goes through a switch box to the auxiliary. The reason I use tape monitor 2 instead of tape monitor 1 is because I have tape monitor 1 go straight to my cassette deck and reel to reel player so if I record anything, it goes straight to either of the two. Unchanged by any effects or level changes because they are all on tape monitor 2. I also have a dummy cassette with record set to on, on my cassette deck because I have a Pioneer CT-F9191 with beautiful large VU meters so I can use it for occasional reference against the dynamic processor and because I enjoy looking at VU meters.

That being said, if you will use anything else in the future (like a tuner or a phonograph)I would suggest hooking the cassette to the auxiliary, while having the tape monitor out go to the equalizer to the reverberation unit then back to the tape monitor in, with the tape monitor switched to on of course.

If you don't plan on using anything else in the future then you can still do what I said above but you could also set it, cassette deck, equalizer, reverberation unit, auxiliary in on the amplifier.

Hope something I said helps.

Hello TheByrd,

I have connected the set this weekend, and i used most of your information/tips.
Thanks a lot for your reply on my thread.
The set sounds fabulous and the blue VU meters look beautiful.
