Kenwood KA-9100 4 ohm ability
Looks like Pioneer was not the only one with a challenged 4 ohm ability. My KA-9100 amp, nice amp by the way, is rated at 90 watts per channel at 8 ohms, and 110 watts per channel at 4 ohms. This is in the factory provided owners manual. I remember reading somewhere (don't you just love it when people say that?) that a high current amp will double it's output in 4 ohms compared to 8 ohms.
