That would be a perfect introductory table. I had one (handed down from my father) that I used in a living room system for a year. When I moved out I donated it to a thrift store. I wouldn't mind having another one around. Worthy of its price tag, but not too much more. I have picked up nicer Technics tables for that same price more than a couple of times.
