please help replace 2sc281 with ksc1845 in f1180 driver circuit of Sansui 2000a

i am repairing the f1180 driver circuit of sansui 2000a after a short circuit in the wire. burned 2sc281 and 2sc959o_O. i replaced 2sc959 with ksc2690. and 2sc281 i replaced with bc550c. because the sound after replacement is too harsh with the high sound of bc550c. i want to replace the bc550c transistor with a ksc1845 transistor. because i currently have a lot of ksc1845. and i like the warm sound with a lot of bass of 1845. i looked at their data, 2sc281 has 100mA Ic current, and ksc1845 has 50mA Ic current. i am worried that i don't know if the Ic current at the circuit is higher than 50mA at that location. I am looking for a suggestion on what to do. Does anyone know of a replacement for this?:confused:

2SC1845 should work for TR803, but I see absolutely no way it could change the frequency response (sound) of the amp. It is in the circuit that sets forward bias, and is not amplifying the audio in any way.

awesome, the sound is back to original. i replaced ksc1845 for 2sc281 the bass is a bit boomy. because just now i replaced 1845 in 2 input transistors tr801 and tr806 (to make up for the lack of bass) and then i returned 2 old gold plated transistors 2sc631 that came with the machine to the input position of f1180. the sound is strong deep bass is back to original. awesome. i also ordered ttc004 and tta004 yesterday. but now probably don't need them anymore. i will put them in the spare position. thank you again! :banana:

i dont know how. but it really changed the sound. my room is very small and quiet. i lie down and listen to my favorite music many times a day because i dont work now just stay at home eat and sleep and listen to music. so even if the sound changes a little i notice it. i dont know much about electronics but it really changed almost 30% of the sound with bc550c and ksc1845
