i hate being this age (26), when all the grandparents and elderly family members start to die off. i lost my great-grandpa barney, in 2006. he was 93 when he died. i lost my great-grandma ginny a few months back, she was 91.
now its my dads dad, my only grandpa i have left. robert g. beaumont the first, (im the third.). he is 78 years old and has been in poor health for the last few years, last week, he fell and broke his hip. today he was diagnosed with pneumonia and is in the hospital. ive been told it isnt looking good. me and my grandpa are very close. he is a really cool old dude that ive had alot of good times with. and i really dont want him to die. some of you may have herd of him, he developed one of the first mass-production electric cars in the 1970s. it was called the "sebring-vangard citicar", his company made over 30,000 of them in the early 70s and he made a huge fourtune with them. he still has one in his garage up in maryland. in the 1990s he built another electric car, called the "tropica", it was a 2-seat electric roadster that looked like a cross between a corvette and a viper. but he only built about 70 of them.
please say a prayer for him and wish him a full recovery from this illness. we are all really worried about him.
thanks.
