polished the platter on the td166

jbrocious

Point of No Return
ive been gazing at the new turntable long and hard......and i started thinking, this thing would be quite the eye catcher with a mirror finished platter......so after sanding up through 2000 grit, its getting pretty close.... i will go over it a couple more times and use some metal polish next

Thats a lot work, now you need a lazer pointer to reflect off it to a wall. You could set up a feed back scale on the wall and experiment with the volume. You'll have a built in light show, I don't if you can remember those but they were fun.
