Greetings... is the Topping P50 power supply usable with other manufacturers' DAC's, preamps, and power amps if the voltages, amps, etc. match up? Thanks... :)

I see no reason, why it shouldn't be.

I'm not very happy to read the warning "The shell will be quite hot at high power output, this is normal" below the specifications, though.

Danke, Manfred... you reminded me of something. I actually got a notification from Quora last week of someone asking why some maps have "Munchen" while others have "Munich". I guess the poster never heard of other languages. LOL

Not unexpected when the case is the heatsink and there is no ventilation.
Not a great design IMAHO, but if I had one on hand I'd use it.

Yup, certainly not much of a surprise.

And you're not alone with that opinion. A box full of elcaps, that gets quite hot under nominal load - makes me wonder, how long the elcaps will last under these conditions. And that thingy isn't even cheap...

But it is cute.
One simple improvement: feet (legs?) underneath to help the case dissipate some of the heat. Perhaps cut/drill some vents, just be certain to clean up the mess (suggest removing board first). I'm not into marketing, function before form.
