@painttoad Thanks. Looks like quality stuff.. Im sure Id never find the correct knobs. Seller has the matching amp too!
i damn near bought one myself not long ago when i wanted another black preamp but i went with a fisher cc3000 instead . no regrets other than i paid too much and there was hidden jenky repairs inside that weren't mentioned but it's fixed, sounds great and is my daily driver. i love the look of the rgr but the knobs are what makes it appealing to me.

sure looks like it. it looks like the pic i posted, not the pic of the unit the op posted which definately do not look the same.
How embarrassing...I think the rug threw me off.
