Preamp Recommendation To Pair With Marantz Model 500 Amp

I have a Marantz Model 500 amp and I'm looking for a preamp to pair it with, I was looking at other Marantz Pre-Amps and read a bit about the 7T it seemed like what I read was split with some liking it while others not. I was hoping to to pair it with another Marantz component that came out around the same time frame but it is not a necessity. Thanks I appreciate any and all feedback.

Any pre-amp would fit - but the "matching" pre-amp was the 3300 as ChrisMarantz says.

No Marantz matches the 500 in size from that period and nor does the 3300 -but it was the Pre-amp for the 500.

Thanks I'll check out the 3300, I took a couple of quick pics it was the best I could manage with my phone. The table is a Pro-Ject Xpression Classic with a Ortofon 2m Black cartridge.

That is one beast - lovely (and heavy) amp!!

Just Curious - What is the Serial number?

The serial number is 1751, its definitely heavy, once I got it setup it wasn't something I wanted to move.
