Qrx 3500 fuse problem

im looking to purchase a Sansui QRX 3500. The seller said he ran it for a few weeks fine then it started popping the fuse in the back of it. Any ideas of what this could be? It’s not much to go on I know but if it’s an easy fix I might get this thing for a song. Thanks in advance. -Adam

Did you ever find out what was causing the back 250V 5 A fuse to blow? I have the same issue and I've removed all boards from their sockets and tested each output transistor (all tested good).

Hi Adam

Check all the rectifier diodes and diode bridges that are connected to the secondary of the transformer.

That was it. Direct short between the negative and AC pin. I'll replace both. Thanks again.
