hello everybody!
I'm calling all the quad conoisseurs here with a question: I have a quad 44 with SN 15*** and an MC module. what I know is that that they are 3 MC modules,A, B, C respectively. well, me, personally, I have the C, as in the pictures. (I understand why would have been 2 MC modules, high and low output. but a third one?) now the question: can I use it with a low output cartridge? again, I understand: 0,4mV, 100 ohms (hopefully that is what the 100R stands for) and 22 nano farads.

C Module is 400µV, 100R, 22nF
B module is 100µV, 100R, 22nF
A module is 200µV, 100R, 22nF

based on your picture and a couple pics of sold items on the bay.nl.
the different µV are for different LOMC outputs.
Ortofon MC-20 is 70µV
Many are 200-600 so selecting the right phono module will help put the volume control in the right place as your regular listening level in relation to other input levels.

HOMC would use the MM card as that can be set for 1mV up to 10mV.

(1000µV is 1mV)

Yes, I've got that, thank you for the reply. All I wanted to know is how this could hinder my choice of cartridge. And I knew about high output MC. Thanks a lot again.
