Hello,
I am looking for a pair of Power and Preamp to power Totem Mani 2. With my budget around $1500, I checked online and local, right now, I have come up with two options: Quad 909 & pre 99 (140 watt) vs Bryston 4B & pre BP25 (200 watt).
I owned Quad 909 years before, I used it with Bottlehead Quickie preamp and I really love the smooth midrange. As for Bryston 4B and preamp BP25. I have never got a chance to listen too.
So please share some of your experience about the 2 combinations.
