It is with very deep regret that I inform you of the death of our very dear friend "bogle111". I have just received a call from Peter's dear wife, Sharon, who passed along the very sad news of his death, from some form of 'internal melanoma' [as I understand it], on November 11th 2013. I, for one will miss our 'bogie'/'Peter', very, very much. His wit and poetry were very clever, funny and engaging. He was amongst 'the-first-of-the-few' here to understand my 'sharp' sense of humour!

The reason why this information is coming out now is that I 'rediscovered' Peter's telephone numbers two days ago; and put in a call to say 'hi'.

Sharon was very pleased to confirm that she can reminisce with Pete's threads/posts and 'poems', by perusing our forums. She also faces the task of disposing of his 'very interesting' audio collection, from her location just inside the North Wales coastline. One or two of the AK U.K. contingent will endeavor to supply information to facilitate same.

Dave.

I am so very sorry to hear this news, thanks for taking the trouble to find out Dave. Pete was a good AK friend and I have missed him ever since he stopped posting here, now I/we know why.

Oh---my! Peter and I had a project in the works and I'd been out of contact for a while. Always enjoyed his posts and e-mails and will miss him. My condolences to his family and friends.

This is the most painful thread I have ever seen in this forum. Last week one of the closest friends in my life died, his funeral ceremony was last weekend, and now this. This is almost too much for me. They both were named Peter.

Our dear AK Peter, famous for his countless limericks in the YGTLW thread, was one of my closest friends here in this forum. So I asked myself many times why he did not respond on my private messages anymore and why he ended his participation in our forum.

May he rest in peace! Adieu my friend, Adieu...

Christoph

I have missed his fun poems here, such a clever writer he was. He was a good soul, that always shone through his posts and I will continue to miss him. Goodbye friend.
