Rare, hard to find, uncommon Pioneer components

I bought mine from one of Stereophile's former writers in an Ebay auction for about $30.00 a couple of years ago. (Well, sometimes you get lucky. I lost the windfall later in a C-91 auction that turned out to be a boat anchor, it's going on Ebay soon as a parts unit.) Actually I have two JT-211's. (One with a box.) I had to replace the red LED in both. (Record LED's from derelict CT-Fx50's work great).

I was visiting (and ran across this thread) because I have (in addition to two restored mint units) a couple of CT-F1250's that need that transport motor rebuild job. The more I poke around this site the more knocked out I am. What an incredible database. Nothing shakes off the case of the creeps I get from going to Best Buy like trolling the AK website.
If there's a place to upload photos I could upload a photo or two of my RT-2044's......

Regards to all,

Rick

Rare hard to find, uncommon Pioneer components

I have a Pioneer A71 reference Elite integrated...can find nothing on it but this is a transparent sweet and powerful amp high end sound and beautiful build.

Hpm 1500

I'm looking for parts for my HPM 1500. I purchased these back in 1977 brand new.
Does anyone know of a repair shop or where to find orginal parts. Over the years tweeters have gone out along with the mid range. I have replaced them with aftermarket parts but would like to get back orginial. Cabinets in mint condition super tweeters still work fine.

For those of us who are in to collecting Pioneer components, what are the components you feel are the more difficult to find, prior to 1985?

Items that I see as being difficult (from "almost impossible" to "showing up on ebay every couple of months") are:

SD-1000
SD-1100
P-D1
P-D70
Series 20 components
HPM-150/HPM-1500
DS-40F
MXA-1
SM-Q300

But these are part of a group of components that I am interested in, so I am not looking at other components from other groups.
Doc
pioneer TZ9 or TZ7 speakers (elite)

I am looking for something simple, an antenna bracket for a SX 1050. I don't want to be forced to buy one for parts if I don't have to...anyone have one that they want to part with? Please send me a PM.

Thanks.

I have a pair of Pioneer CS-G201WAII's. Ive never seen another pair in my life. Does anyone else own a pair of these model speakers? I know they have a bigger brother in the 301's.

I am looking for a amp card that the tech states was stolen by the last tech that worked on the SX 1080 that now is at Austin Stereo. Mike did a fantastic job on my 1280! Help!!!!

I have these speakers and I think I got them around 87. Not a top of the line but they have served me well.

:music::music:

Hey, i didnt know anyone replied to me in this thread. Thats basically when my brother got this pair, it was christmas of 1987. No they arent top of the line, but they sound absolutely beautiful after a good refoam job. I have a question though. Are these speakers just 100 watts, or 100 rms per channel? It doesnt specify on my pair.

Man, I can't find the doc on the speakers. I thought I had it because I keep everything. I bet since the badge on the front of the speaker says Max music power 100W that the RMS is below that. If I can find it then I'll post more information.

how about the 1989 VH-930SD S-VHS VCR? the thing is damned near unobtainium, even pictures of it are!!

I do actually own one of these P-D1's, it fits in very nice with my black SX-5590 receiver and PL-570x TT, so I don't bother to much about the fact they didn't made them in silver:D..

About a year after I purchased this unit, I got an email from the first owner telling me he found the original manual and brochure (there is a copy in the database).

I can tell you I really like the looks and overall quality of this cdp!!

I have some pics, but somehow I cant reach my photobucket account, so I try this later..

This is the only Pioneer SM-Q305 model I've seen in recent times. It's a tube receiver; not the prettiest but the sound is great from PP EL84 tubes. It's also a beast to lift.
