realistic nova 8b question

I'm interested in a pair of realistic nova 8b speakers. I have a couple of questions.

1. How much should I pay for a pair in good shape?

2. How will they measure up to my Sansui Sp-7500Xs?

3. Any more info on this speaker?

In excellent condition no more than maybe $50. No matter what you will be looking at recapping (following the 8b thread by videolady201). The aforementioned thread will have all the info you are looking for and then some.

While I own SP-3500 (one of the more desired of the Sansui line), wide spread opinion is not so favorable. Personally I like my Nova 5b's (cousin to the 8b) better than the Sansui's. Neither has had any work done to them so they are all original and close enough in age that they are roughly the same condition network wise.

Have 6Bs and had 7500s. Both do more, better than people give them credit for. All that means that you can get a fine speaker for cheap.
