Realistic STA-2270 receiver

I have an older Radio Shack Realistic STA-2270 receiver that was given to me some years ago. It still works great, although a couple of the stereo power indicator lights are out and the master volume control needs cleaning.

My question is:

Does anyone have any hints about how to "tune up" this unit?

I would first check the DC offset. If the offset is under say 60mv I'd then proceed with carefully dusting off the circuit boards with a can of air. Next I'd clean the controls and switches with a safe and proper contact cleaner.
