Todays project was my Realistic. Replacing meter lamps to LEDs and deoxit the tape monitor switch, and fader lube on carbon 
pots. Deoxit repaired the stereo, only 2 channels working on mono before deoxit, stereo only 1 channel worked. Converted both meter lights to LEDs. Used warm white LEDs for meters, soldering to a blown fuse and blown bulb. Solder anode to cathode then 1k resistor. Other anode to fuse end and cathode to other fuse end. This is because it is 12 volts a/c. The 2 diodes wired anode to cathode protect led from reverse voltage and reduce flickering, because they flicker out of sync. The photo makes light look yellow on meter but with eyes not noticable difference to dial face.
