Receiver being static-y and electrifying after cleaning pots with deoxit

I have finished cleaning all pots and switches of my MCS 3223, when I reassembled it and turned it on it sounded very clean but now the knobs all feel static-y and electrifying to the touch, is it not dry yet? or did I mess something up? I'm pretty sure I didn't get much of the other parts, like boards and it might still be a bit wet since I only finished cleaning it a couple of hours ago but I'm afraid it might be something else, what should I do?

Reverse the AC mains plug 180°..

Here in the states. Neutral is tied directly to cold water pipe ground in the breaker panel. With the plug flipped your putting the "hot" side to chassis ground. Causes that tingling feel on the metal chassis. You want the neutral connected to chassis ground.

More like neutral must be connected to earth ground. I just put in a new 200A service. We installed a new grounding plate, new #6 Cu wire to the panel. Even though I had two ground rods already installed from the previous service. One can not assume a water supply pipe is a proper earth ground or a good conductor to it.
