Receiver Feet

Most vintage Receivers seen have those hard little plastic feet. A few years ago I bought a Marantz where the Seller had replaced the original feet with some black, soft rubbing stick on feet, about 2" in diameter. Does anyone know where I can get these and what they're called?

The ones at Parts Express are excellent...nice and soft, and very high quality. Much better than stock units..

Echo -- Can you just stick them on or do they need to be screwed? What part of the world are you in anyway? I see all this praise and can't resist having your expertise go to work on some units......
 
A lot of turntables made in the 80/90s use these even some of the bottom feeders used very good quality feet..OVERLOOKED BY MANY. there can be a lot cheaper that the so called hi/end feet
and just as good with that retro look to boot.

I have bought a lot of old turntables from flea markets just for the feet scrap the rest..I will pay at most £3.00.

These have a hole on da middle for a screw/bolt, along with a steel flatwasher to prevent the bolt from pulling through the foot.

I'm in Kansas City, MO...middle 'O the country. ;)

Thanks, Echo! What I'd like to do is remove the orignal feet, put some self-sticking feet on and then remove them and replace them with the originals if I ever sell the unit. Any thoughts?
 
You can find rubber ones at your local Home Depot and the like, both stick-on and screw on in different sizes. I was going nuts trying to find something to use on an old receiver that had missing feet, the last place I went to had them.
 
Those self-stick things are pretty cheap...but maybe softer than the originals (most originals were not rubber, but hard plastic..) If you don't want to pull the bottom off to swap feet, maybe that's the way to go.
