Got a Sansui 9090 that may need a little help. I am located in the DFW area and was hoping y'all could give me some places. I can drive 5+ hours with no issues. I heard about Many Moons in NE Oklahoma but I thought I heard about a good guy who was near the Texas Oklahoma border but cannot remember the name. Any advise is appreciated.

Also, you can reach out to AKer footfungus (he's in Plano) who may or may not be offering his repair services any longer. If he is, that's the guy you want to go with.
The only person I know of near the Texas Oklahoma border is in McKinney and I'm pretty sure he only works on tube equipment.

Does the community know/recommend a good refurbisher in Texas or southern Oklahoma. Planning on buying a high end receiver G8000 or 8080/9090 and will be looking for a great place to have it worked on. Looking for a place I can drive to so as to avoid shipping these heavy units. Hear horror...

Hi Fidelity use to be a great place in Lubbock.. Don't know much about Amarillo and Oklahoma City any more. But I haven't been there in 15 years to know if they still are in business..It was the company that sold all the Furrs cafeterias their sound systems using Mcintosh amps, ADS and Bozak speakers.
